Examples

Draft · synthetic data only

All examples are synthetic. They describe an invented basement water loss. They contain no customer data and assert no verified emissions. Where data is missing, the example says so: the report below has no emissions total and is marked incomplete.

Source files live in examples/synthetic-water-loss/ in the repository and are validated in CI against the published schemas.

Things to notice:

  • The waste event carries gross, tare and net weight from a certified scale, and processing_outcome: unknown with outcome_evidence_status: none. A delivered load is not a verified recycled load.
  • The mitigation reading records an observation. The judgment is not_assessed, because a reading is not a drying decision.
  • The option assessment is needs_review with insufficient_evidence, and human_approval_required is always true.
  • The report lists what it excludes and leaves gross_kg_co2e as null rather than inventing a total.

A validator should reject these, and the repository tests that it does.

Other invalid fixtures cover a waste event with no quantity, a zero quantity with no reason code, and an option assessment that tries to skip human approval.
