Resilience

Draft · protocol 3.0.0-draft

Resilience is a scenario-dependent performance attribute, not a single universal score. TRP records it as a vector of evidenced capabilities.

  • Peril: flood, wind, wildfire, hail, seismic, freeze, heat, other
  • hazard intensity or design basis
  • the relevant assembly
  • the performance metric and testing standard
  • supporting evidence and jurisdiction
  • maintenance needs and expected service life

Examples include flood-resistant flooring and insulation, wind- and hail-rated roofing, wildfire-resistant assemblies, moisture-resistant materials, and improved anchoring or water barriers.

If a composite score is used, it MUST declare its weights and limitations. Offer the underlying vector alongside it.

Engineering validation and local building-code compliance remain external responsibilities. A TRP record shows what evidence was provided; it does not certify performance.
